The country and the capital are filled in all sorts of protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Turns out it doesn’t affect one event that is simultaneously occurring in the capital. The #bestweekendoftheyear promise of Comic Con Delhi continues to prosper in the capital. The fun for all geeks, nerds and lovers of pop culture remains untouched by the fierce anger of the nation.

Two days of the 9th edition of Maruti Suzuki presented Comic Con Delhi have occurred with both days being a success and filled with all the fun that one could expect from the event. Stars like Bernard Chang, the MISBA crew, Classic Collective and Bill Golliher lit the stage on Day 1. The second day was brought to the attention of the crowd by Varud Gupta, the cast of ‘College Romance’ and the Illusionist – Karan Singh.

Cosplayers were also on point with many Killmonger from Black Panther, Kakashi Hatake from the anime ‘Naruto’ and Jigsaw from the Saw series representing well. The first day of the Indian Cosplay Championship got its first finalist from Delhi in the form of cosplayer who played Killmonger.

The event also provides a platform for the leading exhibitors and brands to showcase their coolest and quirkiest products to the visitors. People coming to the event will get a chance to see real-world exhibits of their favourite comics, TV shows, movies, games and animes. Tomorrow will see Apoorva Singh Karki from The Timeliners and many more hit the centre stage to add in the fun factor.

With the best of comics, books, film & TV, merchandise, and gaming at shows across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi – Comic Con India is the place for everyone to ‘Engage, Explore and Experience’ the best that modern pop-culture, literature, and films have to offer from India and the world.

Comic Con India has delivered its 1.2 million visitors in the past 9 years their #bestweekendoftheyear and they strive to continue with that motto. The New Delhi chapter of this international festival of pop culture will be followed by Ahmedabad’s debut edition at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre next year on February 1st and 2nd, 2020.
